About me
I'm an Australian native English speaker and I've been teaching English to students for more than a year. I have a BA, a CELTA and I'm qualified to teach IELTS and the Cambridge Exam preparation classes as well.
About the lessons
My lessons are run to suite the student and that means that students won't always experience the same lesson style and they're adapted to suit the different learning styles and language levels of students.
I can run a structured class based on a traditional textbook with take home activities designed to boost your out of class learning and English language acquisition. Additionally, I can also run lessons in a more relaxed fashion ensuring that students' language needs are still met utilising a variety of different media.
I teach online and the necessary class materials can be sent to you before the lesson in preparation for your class if you require this.
English Classes
I run 1-on-1 or group classes for anyone looking to learn English or develop and build on what they may already know. I can teach beginners through to higher level students who may just wish to receive feedback before an exam.
Classes can cover everything from spelling and grammar through to conversation practice focusing on real world topics. This is up to the student.
1-on-1 lessons
These are intended to enhance your language abilities in a private lesson. For beginners this can mean starting from the beginning with a set course structure or working on areas that you have identified as needing development.
I'm also able to assist with an initial assessment of your language skills and provide a recommendation on areas you can improve.
Group lessons
This is intended for students who enjoy working in groups or who have family or friends also looking to improve their English language abilities and don't necessarily wish to participate in a class on their own.
1 time session
This type of lesson is intended for students who already have an advanced level of English language abilities and are seeking feedback before an important event such as an exam. This session can be converted into on going lessons if necessary.
Prices
Below is a list of prices including packages available.
1-on-1 lessons and 1 time sessions
$25USD per hour or $20USD per 30 minutes
Group lessons
Group size of 1-4 people:
$65USD per hour for the whole group
Group size of 5-7 people:
$85USD per hour for the whole group
Note: 30 minute sessions aren't available for group classes.
Price packages for individual students
15 hours: $23USD per hour ($345USD)
25 hours: $22USD per hour ($550USD)
40 hours: $21USD per hour ($840USD)
